My painting “Heading Out” received the Founders Award as part of the Greater Bay Area Open. I am thrilled to be part of the excellent show and so happy to also have an award.

I am delighted that my painting “Intertidal Morning” was selected to be part of the 94th Annual Statewide California Landscape Exhibit. It is particularly meaningful to me as the juror for the show is Kim Lordier, an artist I greatly admire. The show is sure to be full of gorgeous landscapes. If you’re in the area do check it out. I’m delighted that my painting “Sailing Lessons” is included in the 13th annual “Fresh Works” juried art show in Pleasanton.
The Harrington Gallery is a beautiful art space inside the Firehouse Arts Center in Downtown Pleasanton at 4444 Railroad Avenue. The gallery is open open Wednesdays – Saturdays.

Three of my paintings are part of this year’s juried plein air painting show. The show is up through April 27 at the Coastal Art League gallery at 300 Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay which is located at 300 Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay. Gallery hours 12:00 to 5:00 most days (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The painting above is “Pacific Checkmate” which I painted on location at Sue Meg State Park in Humboldt County.
“Morning Sun Pigeon Point” was painted on a crisp fall morning just south of the lighthouse. “Garrapata Glow” takes in a back lit morning view as painted on the edge of Pacific at Garrapata just south of Carmel.

Allied Artists West, a professional artists’ group based in Santa Clara County is showcasing an exhibit of 100 vibrant summery art pieces by 20 artists. The exhibit will be at the Harrington Gallery inside the Firehouse Art Center in Pleasanton, California. There will be a reception for the show on June 1st from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. The show will be on view through the end of July.

My painting Summer Evening Sail is part of the statewide salon style 2D art competition and exhibit at the Triton Museum of Art located at Santa Clara University. I very much appreciate that the Triton Museum is hosting the show. My thanks also goes to Aly Gould (Executive Director, Pacific Art League) who juried this year’s show.
The Triton Museum of Art is located at 1505 Warburton Avenue in Santa Clara. Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 4:30.
