In Northern California we don’t have snow to signal the arrival of the winter holiday season but we do have Dungeness crab. In this piece, I am celebrating crab season at Half Moon Bay’s Pillar Point Harbor. I love all of the activity and the way the sun as it lowers hits the crab bins. The boat on the right is the Miss Moriah which I’ve already painted several times.
