Catching a seagull in flight amongst the reflections of sailboat hulls.

At the edge of the open ocean, this view takes in a sailboat approaching the Golden Gate Bridge.

I’ve painted a late afternoon troubled sky over the city skyline and sailboats.

The “Matthew Turner” is a beauty and at 132 feet it is the largest vessel I painted for the series. This view takes in the elegant wooden tall ship dockside in Sausalito. The Matthew Turner is a brigantine with a mix of rigging styles for enhanced speed and maneuverability. The ship to the right is the “Seaward.”

This painting takes in the tranquility of a quiet nook on San Francisco Bay that I think has a bit of a European look.
