This spot along the Merced River is just a short walk from one of the major parking area. Still, I was able to settle in and paint on a beautiful summer afternoon with just a few people passing by on the shady trail. While I was painting, I was able to enjoy the passing of rafters and tubers cooling off in the Merced River.
